Milo Junior Olympian Award 2008 Contest

Celebrate the spirit of the 2008 Beijing Olympics through the hearts of our children. Inspire our children to enjoy the goodness of sports and strive for excellence in both sports and studies for the honor and glory of oneself and the nation.
Award will be presented to 29 children to celebrate the 29th edition of the Summer Olympics held in August 2008 in Beijing China. The award is open to Malaysian children under 15 years of age born in 1993 and above. Each winning child will receive:

a Milo sports voucher worth RM1,500
a commemorative medallion
a certificate of achievement signed by the President of OCM, Minister of Education and MD of Nestlé Malaysia.

The award favours children who are all rounders. Good in sports and studies Children will be judged for their achievement in sports and studies in the Olympic year 2008 ie 12 months Jan to Dec 2008. Children who have good academic results and have participated and achieved good results in sports at school, state, national and international levels will have an advantage.

All information in the nomination form must be correct and truthful. Any incorrect information will cause the nomination to be rejected. Entries close on the 28th Feb 2009. Please send your entries to the attention of:

The winners will be announced in a congrats ad that will appear in leading newspapers on the 20th March 2009. The winners will receive their awards during their respective school assemblies.

This inspiring Junior Olympian Award will be jointly managed by MILO, OCM and MSSM. A panel of judges will be appointed to select the winners based on the nominations received whose decision is final.
