- By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, and any terms and conditions applicable to the use of the http://www.mtvasiaawards.com website

- MTV Asia LDC reserves the right to amend, revise, delete, edit, add to and/or withdraw these Terms and Conditions and the prizes to be awarded at any time without notice, in which event, MTV Asia LDC shall have no liability whatsoever to any person and/or entity as a result thereof.

- Participants will stand a chance to win a trip to Genting, Malaysia to catch the inaugural MTV Asia Awards 2008 and must be able to travel to Malaysia during the period of 1 - 3 August 2008.

- The prize for one winner and 3 accompanying guests will be given;

* Paid travel to Genting, Malaysia (winners arrive on 1 August and depart on 3August)
* Transfers to and from hotel to airport and venue
* Hotel accommodation for 2 nights, double occupancy per room.
* Spending allowance of an equivalent of 150US$/ person

-The winners must provide MTV Asia LCD with the passport name and number within twenty-four (24) hours of notification by the MTV Asia LDC. In the event that the winners fail to provide MTV Asia LDC with all required names and passport numbers within this time limit, MTV Asia LDC reserve the right to select another prize winner. If the winners are unable to travel on the dates set out above for any reason then the decision whether or not such person(s) can be replaced is at MTV Aisa LDC’s sole discretion.

- The winners shall each be responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary visas, valid passports and any other necessary approvals or travel documents to allow them to travel to and stay in Malaysia, on and/or during dates as specified by MTV Asia LDC at its sole discretion, failing which, MTV Asia LDC shall be entitled to forfeit the prize, require the return of the same and dispose of the prize in any manner it deems fit.

- All winners shall be responsible for any additional costs, insurance, duties, taxes, licenses, permits, approvals and/or other incidental expenses which may be incurred as a result of and/or related to the winner’s acceptance of the said prize(s), including but not limited to any registration fees, maintenance costs, connection or airtime charges incurred for the use of any of the prizes.

- The Contest is open to all legal residents, aged 18 and above, of the following countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong.

- Each entry submitted by the participant shall entitle the participant to one (1) chance to win.

- All entries must be received by MTV Asia LDC on or before midnight in Singapore on 25 July 2008. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

- Employees of MTV Asia LDC, Esprit, their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, authorized dealers/distributors, agents and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Contest. MTV Asia LDC reserves the right to disqualify any such person from receipt of any prize and/or require the return of any such prizes awarded. In such an event, MTV Asia LDC reserves the right to redraw a new winner for the prize and/or dispose of the prize in any manner it deems fit, at its sole discretion.

- The prize winners will be selected in a draw to be held on 26 July 2008 (the “Draw”). All winners will be notified by post, electronic mail, telephone call or other modes of communication in accordance with the particulars provided by the participant during registration. MTV Asia LDC shall not be responsible for any inaccuracy in any information, and/or personal or contact particulars provided by the participant, and shall not be liable for any such errors or any loss suffered by the participant as a result thereof.

- Prizes are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash, unless otherwise specified herein. There shall be no substitution of prizes except as determined solely by MTV Asia LDC in its sole discretion. In the event MTV Asia LDC is unable to provide the stated prize, MTV Asia LDC reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier.

- MTV Asia LDC, the Sponsor, their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, authorized dealers/distributors, agents, officers and/or employees shall not be liable for any claims, damage, injuries and/or loss (including but not limited to any indirect and/or consequential damage or loss) suffered by any of the winners in the course of their acceptance, use or enjoyment of any prize.

- MTV Asia LDC, the Sponsor, their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, authorized dealers/distributors, agents, officers and/or employees shall not be liable for any late, misdirected or unavailable network, server or other connections or technical failures. With regards to entries submitted online, in the event of any corruption, disruption and/or other failure of the administration and/or security of the server as a result of any virus, bug or other cause beyond MTV Asia LDC’s control, MTV Asia LDC reserves the right to cancel and/or suspend the Contest in respect of the same.

- Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the winner’s part to allow the use of the winner’s name, image, voice and/or likeness by MTV Asia LDC and the Sponsor for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

- Acceptance of any prize shall constitute a release and discharge of MTV Asia LDC and the Sponsor, by each winner (and/or their guests/invitees) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Contest, prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.

- Filming of the winners will be done in Malaysia. Accepting the prize shall constitute participation in the filming and a release and discharge of MTV Asia LDC and the Sponsor, by each winner from any and all liability. MTV Asia LDC retains the rights of the film footages.

- This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore.
