Youths in the Asia Pacific region are more dynamic than ever before. Recently, they took part in “taking action and making art” for the HP and MTV global notebook PC graphics-design competition.
Of the 3,200 entries, 25 per cent came from Asia with youths in Pakistan and Malaysia submitting some of the highest number of entries.
Since its inception on Sept 12, the online website www.mtv-tama.com has generated 1.7million visits.
The global competition challenges youths to develop designs that communicate a positive thought, a belief, a message that they want to broadcast to the world to show what is personal to them.
The winning submission will be used in the design of a special artist edition HP Pavilion notebook PC using the company’s innovative HP Imprint finish.
Today is the last day to submit your entries. In addition, visitors to the site can win cool HP products by logging in and voting for their favourite design. The winner of the competition will be flown to attend the MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich, Germany, next month as a special guest of MTV. For more information, visit wap.mtv-tama.com.
